Every detail of the space has been curated with the same care as the garments themselves, from a vintage Singer sewing machine repurposed as a glass table to the thoughtfully selected accessories on display.

Clients may select pieces from the latest in-store collection and have them made to measure, or fully personalize each design—choosing fabrics, finishes, and details to create something uniquely their own. The result is clothing that reflects both craftsmanship and individuality.

Located on Via Panisperna, in the heart of Monti—Rome’s evocative intellectual neighborhood—Mia Carmen Atelier has been enchanting clients since 1997. That was the year founder Carmelita Ribba, who works under the nom d’art Mia Carmen, chose to dedicate herself entirely to made-to-measure couture.

An award-winning designer trained in haute couture, Ribba describes her atelier as a “regno dei desideri”—a kingdom where wishes come true.

Each year, Ribba creates two collections guided by two core principles:

the exclusive use of Made in Italy fabrics
the application of haute couture tailoring techniques
