Living up to its name, it boasts a true smorgasbord of unique, curated items (over 400) ranging from jewelry, home décor and clothing to accessories and wellness products.
Originally begun as a trunk show in a New York loft, Artisanal Cornucopia opened on via dell’Oca near Piazza del Popolo in 2015. A cross between concept store and art show with a warm, salon-like vibe, Artisanal Cornucopia embodies founder Elif Sallorenzo’s vision of a space that honors the creative impulse.
Her hope is that the experience in the boutique might “shed light on how you might actually have an artisan in you.”
Whether that creative impulse has been passed down through generations, like the renowned Venetian glassmaking Seguso family operating since 1397 (whose work is featured in the store), or discovered unexpectedly, as in the case of her own sister who now makes porcelain pieces in a Brooklyn ceramics studio, Elif wants the shop to spark that inspiration in everyone who walks through its doors.
As of 2024, Artisanal Cornucopia’s location has come full circle, as Elif has opened a boutique in the West Village as well.
Showcasing both local and international artisans, Artisanal Cornucopia features creators such as:

• Giulia Barela (lost-wax Etruscan-inspired jewelry)
• De Couture Bags (elegant handbags made in Rome)
• Valentina Asia (unique accessories inspired by art and nature)
• Kimono jackets by Bulgarian designer Ivan Doney
• Traditional Pugliese “schizzato” ceramics by Loliva
The boutique also features crocheted bikinis, gorgeous pochette handbags and large shopper bags in sumptuous Turkish Ikat, and even its own line of clothing designed by Elif herself.
In addition to a line of ceramics for your four-legged friends, best-selling items at the Rome shop include one-of-a-kind pieces by Venice- and Paris-based Profilo, where Andrew Vianello makes silver-fused profiles immortalizing the client’s profile and sold exclusively in Rome at Artisanal Cornucopia.
Artisanal Cornucopia is more than a boutique; it’s a cabinet of wonders, a curated celebration of creativity in all its forms.
The only risk you’ll encounter there isn’t leaving uninspired – it’s finding so much inspiration that you won’t quite know where to begin.
